What just happened? I got an email a few days ago from Second Life telling me to activate my account and--OH JESUS. I SIGNED UP FOR SECOND LIFE.

It's the one thing I thought I'd never actually do, y'know? But you know the scariest part? I'M ENJOYING IT. Yeah I know that's what I thought. I'll really have to watch myself. I don't want SL to take over my First Life.

Which brings me to a dilemma, actually. I really fucking love that name, Robb Snowpaw. I've been contemplating changing Bass's name to it, actually. But the thing is, changing a character's name is absolutely nothing like changing their species or colour scheme, isn't it? that's where you come in. Opinions?

Other than that, not much has happened as of late. My subscription expired. I should really get myself a new one soon. Now that subscriptions have like, you know, useful features.

There's this art festival up in Reno called Artown going on all the way throught 32 July (otherwise known as 1 August). I went with a few friends on Monday and Friday, and I gotta say it was pretty cool. Highlight of both trips was definitely the William Joseph concert on Monday. If you haven't heard any of his work, I'd highly reccommend it. He was billed as a "classical pop" artist. Perhaps a better explanation would be that on the stage, he had a rock kit, electric kit, piano, violin, and cello. But words can't really describe him. Just listen to his stuff.

Hockey for the summer's looking pretty bad. The one camp I was hoping to head off to only has two people in my age division signed up, and the conditioning series that my team does over the summer was canceled due to lack of participation. *sigh*
